We’re rolling out the red carpet because Red Havas has been named a Top Place to Work by PRNEWS, which has also named our own Courtney Myers a winner in its Agency Elite Awards in the category of Account Lead.
PRNEWS recognizes Top Places to Work as those that have created workplace environments that epitomize work-life balance, give back to the community and advocate for diversity and inclusion. The honor acknowledges our agency’s successes with internal communications, employee growth opportunities, cultural programs, career development and training, benefits and much more.
It also acknowledges that Courtney is simply killing it at her job.
Awarding our cultural changes
Since our agency appointed James Wright as CEO and rebranded as Red Havas this past May, in a move that united Havas PR North America and Red Agency Australia & Asia (with expansion to London), we have worked to swiftly revamp our office culture with initiatives and processes such as:
Mentor Program: Each team member is now being assigned a mentor with whom they will meet once a month for lunch to provide guidance, motivation and support.
Big Picture Meetings: Held on the first Friday of the month and hosted by our CEO, these meetings offer a business update and provide fun overviews from each office from the previous month. All offices join by Zoom, with our CEO rotating between the offices to be at a different one each month.
A Slice of Red: A monthly inspiring creative get-together over a paid-for lunch in each office, where each person shares a recent best practice, trend they have seen, favorite campaign or something inspiring.
Red Refresh: Hosted by senior leaders on the final Friday every second month, whereby we leave the office at 3 p.m. for a paid-for social activity from bowling to yoga, painting to brewery tours.
Red Retreat: Our annual two-day offsite for all team members across our four U.S. offices will launch in November 2019.
And so much more: Interested in a career at Red Havas? We’re hiring!
Courtney Myers: account lead of the year
Congratulations are also in order for our SVP Courtney Myers, who has won the PRNEWS Agency Elite Award in the Account Lead category.
Courtney joined Red Havas in 1997 after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University. She serves on our senior leadership team, and leads the agency’s largest account, Transitions Optical. After 14 years with Courtney at the helm, this client relationship is stronger than ever—due in large part to her ever-present leadership, creativity, strategy and can-do effort. Her work has helped the brand’s positive visibility, awareness, engagement, sales and agency revenue.
Red Havas and Courtney Myers will both be honored at PRNEWS’ Top Places to Work in PR & Agency Elite Awards luncheon on Nov. 21.
