Account Executive, Phoenix

The role

The account executive has 2-3 years public relations experience and assists with client services, account management, media relations and social media content creation and strategy across several accounts.

What we expect from you
  • Fully understand the clients’ business and account objectives in order to deliver creative ideas that resonate with target audiences
  • Develop media materials including media releases, pitches, fact sheets, Q&As, bios, case histories and backgrounders
  • Manage media lists, build relationships, develop creative pitch angles and conduct strategic media relations to secure consistent coverage in media outlets across print, online and broadcast
  • Build influencer relationships, including the identification of relevant influencers, tactical execution and reporting
  • Multitask, prioritize and organize coordination of meetings, media opportunities and special events; provide on-site staffing support when/as needed
  • Possess general research skills and a full understanding of how to analyze and report client coverage for traditional and social media
  • Support account administrative tasks; attend regular in-person and team meetings; field requests
  • Create client call agendas and actively participate in regular status calls, taking notes and developing post-call recaps
  • Proactively share creative work that inspires new thinking in the agency
  • Actively participate in team brainstorms and take a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Act as program coordinator and liaison for clients, team and vendors

Account Supervisor, New York

The role

We seek a New York-based account supervisor (AS). We are looking for an experienced AS with strong regional and national media (broadcast) relationships and pitching experience—in other words, a media rock star. Ideal candidate has background in corporate communications; experience in executive branding, leveraging research/studies and healthcare preferred. We are not cookie-cutter thinkers and want people who are willing to think differently, too. Candidates should be highly motivated self-starters with a strong corporate and executive placement experience—excellent media relations, social media, writing and client management skills a must.

What we expect from you
  • Spearhead media outreach—from developing pitch angles and identifying targets to securing top-tier national placements/media meetings
  • Coordinate and implement events such as media events, media briefings, media tours and third-party advocacy as needed
  • Fully understand clients’ business and communication objectives and be able to manage those expectations with the client and internal team

Senior Account Executive, New York 

The role

We seek a New York–based senior account executive (SAE). We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced SAE to work across a mixture of corporate and consumer accounts with strong media relations and writing skills. These accounts include a state and regional economic development, a national fleet industry leader, financial technology company, a new to the U.S TV streaming service, corporate communications and pharmaceutical clients. A typical day could include everything from live tweeting a press conference to pitching innovation initiatives to national media, writing press release, awards and speaking engagement submissions and more. The role encompasses all aspects of media management, including pitching news and features, drafting material for and running social media accounts, preparing content for clients and the press and attending and helping to run events. As the role is client facing, it also includes client management, preparing and presenting updates and strategies and taking part in new business activity. Red Havas works as a close-knit team and SAEs report up to senior staff while also helping to support and manage other team members.

Account Executive, New York

The role

The account executive has 1-3 years public relations experience and assists with client services, account management, media relations and social media content creation and strategy across several accounts.

What we expect from you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, smart Account Executive who has 1-3 years of experience in the PR industry (agency experience preferred). He/she should have an interest in expanding their knowledge of corporate PR and working with clients in industries including commercial real estate, fintech/payments company, a water flavoring brand, health care brand and law firm.

  • Manage communication directly with clients and other team members across several accounts, including regular calls and in-person meetings
  • Identify media targets, develop lists and pitch to media in various industries, including regional, trade and national outlets
  • Monitor for clients in the news and identify opportunities for proactive outreach
  • Oversee the client status reporting process, including drafting reports and incorporating input from all team members
  • Write and edit social media content calendars and provide strategic social media recommendations to clients
  • Draft content including press releases, contributed pieces, talking points,
